The 2023 Safety/Crime Index rankings were recently made public by Numbeo, with Qatar and the United Arab Emirates taking the first and second positions, respectively, out of 142 countries and regions worldwide. Additionally, Taiwan is at the third spot and is ranked first in Asia.

The other top 10 countries and territories are the Isle of Man, Oman, Hong Kong, Armenia, Japan, Switzerland, and Bahrain. After the global health crisis, “safety” has become the top travel priority. Many travelers put safety first when choosing a travel destination. After all, going out safely and returning home happily is essential.
